A Little About Brayden

Born January 1995 in Tumut, NSW Australia, Brayden was first introduced to motorbikes at the age of 3.

His first taste of success was when he was seven years old, finishing 2nd in the Australian Dirt Track Titles at Cowra, NSW.

Riding in a variety of disciplines throughout his youth, and suffering the occasional setback (Crash!), Brayden decided to concentrate on road racing.

In 2014 he competed in the Australasian Superbike Championship, in the Supersport category, making the step up into the premier Australian Superbike Championship, onboard two Suzuki GSX-R1000 Superbikes in 2016.

2017 unleashed the biggest change in his racing career to date. Moving to England to compete in the 2017 British Superstock 1000 Championship racing on board a Yamaha R1 for CF Motorsport.

This year Brayden has moved teams to the DAO Racing team on a Kawasaki ZX10-RR in the Superstock class, alongside former Senior TT winner, Dean Harrison, in The British Superbike Class.

Our best qualifying of the year despite a crash, improvements in both wet & dry conditions, a solid team effort!
Giving everything to get the most out of myself and continuing to work on personal improvements. The DAO Racing crew have constantly listened to my feedback to move forward and give me the best package possible, thank you! 🙌🏻

Round 3, Donnington Park

THE DAO Racing team was back in the points on Sunday as Brayden Elliott picked up a top 10 on his return to racing action.

The Australian crossed the line ninth in Round Four of the Pirelli National Superstock Championship at Donington Park – as the squad’s Bennetts British Superbike rider Dean Harrison was forced to withdraw following a crash on Saturday.

Harrison, who had qualified 21st for Saturday’s race, had been hoping to make up a number of places in the race but his hopes were dashed when he got caught up in another rider’s crash, hitting debris from the stricken bike which in turn caused the Bradford roads specialist to crash out.

Following a second small spill during Sunday’s morning warm up, Harrison and the squad decided to pull out of the remainder of the event to give him time to recover for the Isle of Man TT which begins next week.

Harrison’s withdrawal left Elliott flying the DAO flag alone in his return to action after missing the last round due to injury.

Qualifying 16th, he was determined to make amends on race day and got off to a good start, picking up two places on the opening lap before riding a strong and consistent race, making several passes to finally cross the line ninth, his first top 10 of the year.

Brayden Elliott:

“Overall it was a good round, we’ve still got a few challenges that we need to work through but the race was good, it was our first top 10 of the year which is important for us.

“Generally speaking, it was a positive weekend, obviously it’s not exactly where we want to be but it was a step in the right direction so I leave here a bit more confident and happy and looking forward to the rest of the year.”

Round 2, Oulton Park

Not the best news .........
📣UPDATE: Unfortunately, as a result of his crash yesterday, Brayden Elliott Racing #51 and the team have taken the decision that he won’t race today.
In true Aussie style, he gave it his all this morning and completed warm-up but he is quite beaten up and still in quite a bit of pain so has done the right thing and decided to pull out of this round.
We’re sending him home to get some rest and stroke cats and he will be back out fighting at the next round. 👊
A very brief report..........
ROUND 1

Tough way to start the season, gave my best to grab some points with P12 in yesterdays race. Back to the drawing board to improve and keep working for Rd 2!
Thanks for the big effort DAO Racing

ROUND 2

Gutted to sit out yesterdays race! 👎🏻
Unfortunately went down hard at the start of qualifying, I’m fine just a bit beaten up.
I rode morning warm up then decided it would be best to focus on being fully fit for Rd 3. Definitely not the start to the season myself and DAO Racing were hoping for but it’s certainly not through any lack of trying!
Thanks to the whole team for the help and support all weekend. It’s a long season and we will be back fighting! 👊🏻

Winter Testing

BSB and some support classes went to Spain for a few weeks for some dry weather winter testing in Andalusia and Navarra. Brayden performed well on the new bike. See below for some photos in the winter livery.
